1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Clevly (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. The Service

Clevly is an AI-powered interview coaching tool. It provides practice sessions, real-time answer suggestions, voice transcription, and a private overlay window for use during your own interviews. You alone decide when and how to use the tool.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Clevly. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clevly:

• In any setting where the use of outside assistance is expressly prohibited and constitutes fraud, including but not limited to: government-administered licensure exams (bar, medical boards, CPA), academic exams, or certification tests where the testing organization explicitly forbids it.
• To violate any law, regulation, or third-party agreement that applies to you (including the policies of a prospective employer, school, or testing organization).
• To attempt to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the Service or any part of it.
• To abuse, harass, or impersonate other users, our staff, or any third party.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Clevly complies with the rules of the context in which you use it. Many private employers permit candidates to keep notes visible during interviews; many do not. We do not police your use.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Pro and Epic) are billed in advance through PayPal in the cycle you select (daily, weekly, monthly, or annual). You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account or from /billing.

On cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact us at /contact within 7 days of a charge if you believe you’re owed one.

6. Account security

You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Clevly enforces single-device sessions; signing in from a new device will sign you out elsewhere.

7. Intellectual property

All content, code, and trademarks belong to Clevly or its licensors. The AI-generated text you receive is yours to use; the underlying software is licensed to you, not sold.

8. AI-generated content

Clevly uses third-party AI models (including Claude by Anthropic). Outputs are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. You should review and verify any output before relying on it. We don’t guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Clevly is a coaching tool, not a guarantee of interview success or employment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clevly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting support.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
